Our Fraud team uses advanced systems, data and processes to manage the delicate balance between risk management, customer experience and revenue, while engaging closely with various business partners inside and outside the organization.

We are looking for a Senior Director of Fraud Strategy, someone who is innovative, uses data and metrics to influence their decisions, has a proven ability to communicate and collaborate cross functionally to lead and and own best-in-class fraud prevention and detection controls across various products & functions. In this role, you will assess opportunities to add optimal controls and lead a team dedicated to impacting Fraud at Grubhub. To succeed in this role, you must be able to set a clear strategy and motivate a team while being comfortable with analytics, executive communication, building relationships and driving results.

A successful candidate will have leadership experience as well as a strong background in fraud strategy, electronic payments and digital identity management.

The Impact You Will Make:

Lead both the Fraud Strategy and Fraud Operations teams, impacting fraud risk across various areas through an ideal combination of strategies, data, infrastructure, people and processes

Determine and execute upon Fraud strategy balancing risk mitigation while also reducing impacts to the business and customer experience

Define, implement, and impact relevant financial, operational, and customer experience KPIs and drive business integration accordingly in alignment with broader business goals and objectives

Influence and oversee projects that will achieve the broader company goals including collaborating cross functionally to bring in relevant stakeholders, ensure your team’s priorities are represented and remove roadblocks

Communicate vision, goals, key insights and impacts of team throughout organization including communication to Executive team

Create a positive and focused team environment by expecting high performance levels, promoting empowerment and good judgment, and communicating with transparency

Be curious! Continually seek and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, reduce expense or make people’s work day easier

What You Bring To The Table:

Bachelor’s degree required; Masters/MBA preferred

12+ years of experience in a fraud, risk, payments, analytics or operational role

5+ years of people management experience required

Strong understanding of fraud vectors, strategies, tools and infrastructure in a high transaction volume digital environment; Accertify experience a plus

Excellent written and verbal communicator with experience communicating with all levels up to and including executive management

Proven ability to build an effective team - continuing to develop, coach and motivate while driving results

Experience working cross-functionally to obtain buy-in, must be able to influence stakeholders and get other teams on-board in helping achieve your goals

Creative problem solving and analytical skills; ability to develop/implement process improvements

Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, ability to multitask

Data analysis and business data reporting experience preferred
